About the SAAI
The SOCIETY FOR ADVANCEMENT OF AGRICULTURAL INNOVATIONS (SAAI) came into existence on 2017 in Tripura under Act XXI of 1860 (Registration No. 7671 of 2017). The main aim is to make attempt for the development and extension of scientific research related to Agriculture and allied branches and implementation of these research out comes in the upliftment of farming community and to recognize and support innovation achieved in scientific research and development in the field of Agriculture and allied sciences by individual scientists, inter-disciplinary teams, recognized institutions, learned societies and industries.
Objectives
Its objectives include promotion and dissemination of innovative research outcomes among young minds and researchers, setting up regional and state Chapters, to hold biennial Farm Innovation Congress, to organise national/international level conferences, symposium, seminars, training, brainstorming sessions, meetings and workshops and to publish policy papers, synthesis volumes, proceedings, journals, newsletter, and other publications for the promotion of Farm Sciences.
